Established in 1742 the Anchor Inn sits behind a large weeping willow opposite the village green in the heart of Ringmer, East Sussex.
Paul, Melle, Jools and Tom the dog assure you a pleasant warm welcome to their newly refurbished abode. Though contemporary in style The Anchor boasts all the feel of a traditional country pub, including open fires in the winter!
Two large self contained beer gardens and a Mediterranean feel patio surround the pub, perfect for soaking up the sun, al fresco dining or eyeing the local cricket matches on the village green.
We have a covered smoking area and a Marquee for your Party! We also offer venue hire for your special occassions with full catering services.
Food is served daily and our ever changing menu will have something to suit all tastes. All dishes are home cooked and can be served in the bar, gardens or more formally in our charming restaurant area.
A large selection of wines, spirits, lagers and bottled beers are always available as well as traditional cider and real ale, including the local award winning Harveys Best!
